Sailing School: Ocean Masters Sailing Academy: current schedules

The following is a list of courses currently booked with at least one student position available or proposed future course dates. We normally begin booking all courses two to three months in advance with scheduled dates locked-down 30 days before departure.

Alternate or custom dates, curriculum, and itinerary are covered under Private Schools.

We recommend that if you have a desired date that you are interested in, book early. This is the best way to get the date you desire and the best method of securing the necessary lodging and travel arrangements. If you have a desired course or date other than the ones listed below, please give one of our course counselors a call at 1-954-288-6361. If you have some question as to which course is best for you level of experience, please review the course descriptions.

Start Date	Course Description
November 13, 2010	200 level, Offshore Bareboat Certification and Offshore Navigation, to the Bahamas. Special twelve day trip.
December 4, 2010	100 Level, Basic sailing and Keel Boat Certification
December 18, 2010	110 Coastal Navigation & Bareboat Certification Class.
January 8, 2011	10 Day Special Key West trip. This is a 110 Coastal Navigation and Coastal Bareboat Certification class, the cost is $2195.00 per person. There is a 10% discount for couples. The itinerary is to depart Fort Lauderdale on Saturday and coastal sail down to Biscayne Bay through the Keys all the way to Key West with a layover for a day in Key West, a marvelous and unique island community and always a treat. Then a Gulf Stream ride back to Fort Lauderdale, 200 nautical miles of offshore sailing. Total of 450 to 500 nautical miles of fresh sailing in one of the best cruising grounds on the planet.
February 6, 2011	100 Level, Basic sailing and Keel Boat Certification
March 13, 2011	Bahamas Special: This is the best trips one could ask for, 800 plus miles of sailing through some of the finest cruising grounds on the planet. The trip is divided into two ten day legs with a layover in Marsh Harbor, Abaco. Total of 21 days. Discount for couples and for doing both legs. This class is also being offered with the option of gaining Yachtmaster Coastal Certification.
