
Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale.
To the far left you can see the four red and white stacks that mark the power plant. These
line up east and west and can be seen fifteen miles offshore, they are a good range to
line up on when one is sailing from the Bahamas. To the north side of the inlet the
highest building has a navigational light that is charted. Once again you can see the
build up of migrational material on the north side of the inlet, also the tide is ebbing
and the brown inter-coastal water is mixing with the blue-green Atlantic water. Notice how
the flow exits the inlet and flows south.
