Recently dredged this is a high contrast manipulation in an attempt to show some of the
underwater structure. This inlet is very dangerous in a Northeast blow. You are looking
ENE and the waves will break on the bar in the foreground forcing a vessel aground or in
some cases, sinking a vessel attempting to run the channel.

The inlet is a favorite day anchorage for local boaters that wish to hangout for a few
hours to enjoy the cool clear waters on a hot summer's day.
