   *Private School:  This is a standard package of seven days aboard an Oceanis 400 Beneteau or equivalent vessel. Accommodations are for four students plus instructor. The vessel can accommodate a maximum of six students. There is a charge of $200 per student for student numbers five and six.
    Other vessels are available on a custom basis. Private Schools allow the group to tailor the itinerary and course content to best suit the group. Please discuss the option of a Private School with one of our course councilors.

 OCEAN MASTERS SAILING ACADEMY POLICIES & PROCEDURES

DEPOSIT POLICY: All prices are per student, per course, per week. A 25% deposit is required to reserve a course date. An additional 25% is due 90 days prior to class. The final 50% is due 30 days prior to class start date. 

CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY: We understand that circumstances beyond their control can sometimes force students to change their plans. The Academy must know how many students will be attending each onboard class at lease 30 days in advance. This enables us to provide each student with the proper accommodations and provisioning. Cancellations prior to 90 days before course start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 90 days but more than 30 days will receive a full refund less $100 cancellation fee. Any cancellations within 30 days of the course start date will not receive a refund. Safety is a priority at Ocean Masters Sailing Academy . Cruising in different weather conditions is part of the cruising experience However, we do reserve the right to modify courses when we believe the weather or other conditions affect the safety of the students or vessel. If a course is canceled by the school because of unsafe conditions your tuition will either be refunded or can be applied to any course at another date. 

CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT: Sailing a large vessel can be very relaxing, peaceful, demanding and exciting all at the same time. We have students from 16 to 70 that have completed the courses without any problems. If you have any doubt if you are physically able to experience sailing, please consult your physician and follow his advise. Live-aboard sailing instruction covers every part of the cruising life. Each student will be required to cook, clean, stand watches, navigate and perform all that is necessary aboard a cruising vessel. Team-work and the making of new friends is a very important part of sailing. 

ILLEGAL ACTS & DRUG USE POLICY: Students found in the possession of or under the influence of any illegal substance will be removed from the course and vessel at the nearest port with no refund or reimbursement. Any student who is involved in an illegal act during the course week will be immediately removed from the course and vessel at the nearest port with no refund or reimbursement. 

SWIMMING & SNORKEL USE: I agree to assume all responsibility for any injury or death or other claim of any nature that may arise from swimming or our use of snorkel apparatus during the course. I further agree to indemnify, and hold harmless, Ocean Masters Sailing Academy against any claims that may arise as aforementioned. SCUBA diving is not allowed from any Ocean Masters Sailing Academy Vessels. 

   I have read all the information in the sections titled Policies and Procedures, Deposit Policy, Cancellation and Change Policy, Swimming and Snorkel Use, SCUBA restrictions, Illegal Acts and Drug Use, Conditions of Enrollment and understand the consequences of non-compliance.
